Humie gad, I bawled 80% of episode 5. Nothing this sad will surely happen again in the future episodes, right? This is the saddest it's going to be. I could hardly watch the screen because of the tears. Shaman, Dowager Queen, watch out. You are going to pay for your murderous act.

I don't know whether I love this magical touch of the drama or not. I mean, wow, how could Yeon U just get sick like that? Since it happened like that already, then I just hope that later on, magic will also do wonders for Yeon U and the Crowned Prince.

I am so sad that Yeon U died. Wouldn't it have been better if she were just disqualified as Crowned Princess and not to the point of killing her? I just don't like the pain that her death has caused to her family as well as to the Crowned Prince.

Yeon U really amazed me. She hardly talks when her family gathers around her, but when the Crowned Prince made a secret visit to her, she was talking so well, lol. And whoa, the power of love... I thought she would at least use some of her remaining strength for her family, but she spent the very last making that letter for the Crowned Prince, hahaha. I hope the Crowned Prince get to read the two letters she had written.

So, the Shaman made Yeon U drink the medicine to finish her off, right? And her dad knew about it, but did it anyway to spare her more pain. Bluntly speaking, they killed her. Yeon U even knows it, huh?

I don't want to see the next episode when that other girl marries the Crowned Prince.

Wild Romance, 4

I said to myself, if episode 4 continues with the farcical acting and the mysterious air about the 'affair', I'm going to bid this one goodbye and just continue watching it at kbsworld when it airs there. That screen cap? That's what I want to do with the show, so that it stops the outrageous 'affair' thing and move on.

And thank kdramagod that I waited until now. I think the story is already progressing and the annoying exaggerated acting are over. So, I'm hanging on.

It never occurred to me that the plot is really about a bodyguard and the client... like The Bodyguard of Whitney Houston. I guess the direction will go towards the bodyguard finally catching the stalker. I reckon that before that, somewhere along the way, she's going to get framed, or her family... and of course, they'll fall in love, too.

I just miss the Lee Dong Wok of My Girl and I badly want to see him in that mode. Unfortunately, no trace of that one here.

I can't wait to see who will fall for whom first.

Oh my! She's so pretty with that head dress. She's going to be a beautiful queen. How could they plot to kill her? She's still a child, for kdramagodsake!

This episode got me amused. I mean, whoa, the King's children are all ranting about who they want to marry. At their age. Hahaha. And the three of them are giving him a big headache. I actually like the King in his father mode - especially when he deals with the princess. King's are supposed to be cold and strict... and he is on the outside. I just like how his children can go near him and bring the concerns of their hearts. At their age, lol.

I don't want to go further. I want to just remain where the drama is at episode 4. I love how the Crowned Prince and Yeon U vaguely admitted they like each other. I like how Yeon U went on, braved the storm, to win her place as the Crowned Princess because she knows he was waiting for her. I also like how the Crowned Prince manipulatively used the scholars to move tradition so that Yeon U would end up by his side. I loved how he came to her quarters and entertained her... it's their first date, kinda.

Why couldn't things continue as it is? How could episode 5 be as bleak as it is? I was counting on the Shaman to protect Yeon U but I think she'll do it and kill her.

Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young split

Oh no! I loved this couple!

I felt so bad when I read that Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young have already called it quits for quite sometime already. It's said that Park Min Young just only revealed the information recently.

It's written that they didn't have time to see each other --- LMH has been busy with CFs abroad, while PMY jumped into another drama 'Glory Jane' after 'City Hunter'.

Lee Min Ho, who I think is currently abroad, ~~hasn't confirmed the news yet.~~ has confirmed the same through his agency.

Sad, huh? I haven't even finished the last three episodes of City Hunter! Aigoo.

Four more episodes to go at KBSWorld. This episode's cliffhanger is driving me nuts, I hope I don't end up downloading the rest of the episodes later. I'm watching this with hubby and it's a rare bonding moment for us to be watching the same show, so I'm holding it in, lol.

This drama has ended already but I haven't really been reading the forums about it which is good, lest I lose interest. I had to download this episode because there's no kbsworld channel in our hotel room right now.

I have nothing but rants for this episode. Lee Kang Hun got me so disappointed. Despite his tough appearance, I have always given him the benefit of the doubt and believed he has a pure heart. However, the recent episodes and this one just disgusts me. How could doctors be like that? Hungry for power, calculating, manipulative... over the expense of the patients? I hate it more that Dr. Jun Seok and Dr. Ko are being depicted as slightly incompetents. I mean, they are doctors after all, I don't like the insinuations being displayed that they aren't. Gosh, it would be devastating if there are indeed incompetent doctors practicing because of connections, and in the field of surgery at that!

What did it mean, when Dr. Kang Hun was hesitating and being concerned about the rich girl? Oh, though I hate how he's being like right now, I'm still amused how he treats Ji Hye after the break up. Can't wait for them to make up.

Sorry for the rant. I'm out of town, accompanying my mother for a minor surgical procedure. So, yes, that's why I'm sensitive. lol.

I should heed the Shaman's advice. I shouldn't make a connection with this drama. Now is my only chance to back out. Should I drop this now, and free myself from so much angst ahead?

I am sorry to the child who plays the Minister of Personnel's daughter. I am now hating her this early. Ya, how could someone so young be so vicious as that? For a minute, I thought it was going to be like the Princess' Man... remember the mix up and the pretending? Thank goodness, the Crown Prince knew of the misunderstanding before it could drag more. I was smiling so hard when the Crown Prince out rightly told the other girl it was a mistake. Boo!

Actually, I didn't start this expecting a smooth ride, but I was hoping that girl would instead fall for the illegitimate elder brother. You know, the Crown Prince and her being forced to marry when they actually love somebody else. Her liking the Crown Prince makes it more complicated. I hate it.

My goodness, I'm so afraid for Heon U. The preview shows the Dowager Queen commanding her death. Bloody hell.

Should I stay away?

Oh my goodness, Megaupload is over. I was waiting forever for the subs of 720Arigato for FBRS episodes 13-15, until I made up my mind to just download Bangsuk version to finish it. And I finished re-downloading the three episodes a day before Megaupload died. Aigoo, aigoo.

Anyway, Cha Chi Su, I missed you! It's been so long since episode 13. I was happy to see the whole gang again, but I just suddenly realized that only 2 episodes to the finale, Eun Bi hasn't made up her mind. I mean, whoa... we didn't even have cute moments of our official couple. This makes me annoyed at Eun Bi. Is it only me feeling bad that she's kind of making both guys hope? I just feel bad for Kang Hyuk. I love Chi Su, but I hope Kang Hyuk gets the girl.

Another thing, how could Eun Bi expect Chi Su to give up everything for her? He's still young and all. I can't understand how Eun Bi would like Chi Su to go to her world. It's not reasonable. What could her world offer him?

I liked how Chi Su honestly told Kang Hyuk that he's not sure how he'll continue feeling that way for Eun Bi. His innocent answer downright articulated the reality of it.

More than the development of the leads, I was enjoying the interactions of the two secondary couples. Thank kdramagod for them.

Wild Romance, 3

At episode 3, the farce acting of the leads are kinda irritating a bit. Of course, I know the acting is supposed to be that exaggerated, but after three hours of that, I just want some peace and quiet from both of them. The noisy bickering isn't working on me that well.

I had a lot of fun in the first two episodes, but I still can't see where the plot is going. Is it going to be all about the bodyguard's search for the anti-fan? I hated the behavior of the wife and the lead, PMG. I mean, with their actuation, they better be what Ms. Bodyguard thought them to be and not just a misunderstanding. Why would they behave that way in the first place, if nothing is there? I just feel it's overly executed and so unnatural if it turns out they're just innocent friends. Why would PMG give that kind of birthday gift? Why would the wife secretly meet PMG in a noraebang and a faraway villa?

So I'm thinking, is this the direction of the plot? If yes, then, I don't think I can actively watch it as it airs. Too bad.

I'm back. I hope I'm here to stay. Just too busy these days. Aw, so anxious about SOPA/PIPA threatening my drama life. Aish.

I'm still happy with episode 2. I'm amused by these ~~kids~~ young gents and ladies. Ain't they too young to harbor such romantic feelings? When I was their age, I wasn't that deep and affected, just a fleeting crush, that kind which doesn't fill my mind, hahaha. I hope they stay as kids till the end, cause it's more relaxing and entertaining that way. I was a bit surprised with the daughter of the Minister of Personnel. I hate it that at that age, she's already that cruel and manipulative. I can't imagine what she'll become in the future.

I suddenly missed Sungkyunkwan Scandal in this episode. Episode 2 also reminded me of The Princess' Man - you know, that tutor thing. Even those conniving meetings with the ministers and the King's trust on the tutor's father are just screaming "The Princess Man". I guess it's a bit too soon for me to watch another saeguk. I haven't totally shaken off The Princess Man.

I hope this one just maintain it's current atmosphere - I don't want it to become too much of a makjang later on. I also hope the politics in the palace would just stop, aish. At least we still have 3 or 4 episodes to go before the kids grow into adults. The only thing I'm looking forward with that is to see the adult counterparts of the kids.

I hope SOPA/PIPA doesn't get passed at all.

Just as I expected, episode 1 of this fusion saeguk caught me at first try.

Nothing really breathtaking this early, but I'm already in because saeguks really give me this kind of feeling. Y'know, when the ultimate couple meet as children and you can't wait for them to grow up [and finally see Kim Soo Hyun and Jung Il Woo]... then the manipulations and plots in the palace and all. Know them already. I wonder what's new in this one aside from the usual backdrop of a saeguk. The prophecy even reminded me of Queen Seondeok.

I'm a little sad that it seems the love triangle will be between one girl and two half - brothers. Oh man, even them as children already breaks my heart. I like them both [huh, good luck to me after I see them to be portrayed by Jung Il Woo and Kim Soo Hyun].

It is a nice start - truly deserving of the high ratings [27%?] it garnered on its premier.

I didn't expect that I'd watch this before saeguk Moon that Embraces the Sun. I was just waiting which drama will have the fastest subs and guess what? This one got done first at DSS. That explains it.

Actually, I was itching to watch MTETS, so I wasn't really expecting a lot from this. I still have 2 episodes of LDW's Scent of a Woman and I would have wanted to finish that one first before starting this, but...

The first episode is hilariously funny, I was laughing out loud. I read previously that the comical acting was quite exaggerated, but I don't feel the same. If it was exaggerated at little, it's because it's supposed to be like that, for emphasis. I loved it. I'm suddenly remember LDW of My Girl. He's back in his grind. He belongs to romcoms.

The plot may appear simple, but I can already see how a seemingly ordinary plot would develop into melodrama later --- her falling for the enemy, her suspected to be his anti-fan, etc.

I was just testing the waters, but I think I'm watching the next episode as soon as the subs are out.

Ojakgyo Brothers @ 39

I still can't understand how these two didn't make it to KBS Drama Awards' Best Couple list. After all the awards this drama got, why? Of course, the other couple from this drama made it to the list, but... well, maybe only one Best Couple per drama?

Since late of last year, I've been helping the subs for this drama at DSS. I was compelled to, because I missed so many episodes at KBS World and the only way I can watch them is to use the subs of DSS. Anyway, that's why I don't really help that much out there because it uses up all the my free time, I can't even watch any other drama, aish.

I'm so loving the lovey-dovey cute moments of Tae Hui and Ja Eun. Nothing really grand, just simple day to day stuff, but they're so cute together, I smile widely while watching them. At episode 39, these two certainly eases the tension because Tae Beom's and Su Yeong's matter is just so depressing, I'm glad for the brief reprieve these two offers. I've been reading the real time episode recaps and I know a storm is already brewing on this couple soon. Argh. Even then, I reckon by that time, Tae Beom and Su Yeong shall have finally straightened their issues, and happily married, while Tae Pil and Nam Eul will have just become a couple... and when Tae Hui and Ja Eun get back together, Tae Pil and Nam Eul will be the next problem. I don't see any issue of Tae Sik and Mi Suk at all.

I just love family dramas. It's been 39 episodes, but I'm still looking forward to this weekend after weekend. The scriptwriter truly deserved that award she garnered for this recently. Congratulations to UEE [Ja Eun] and Joo Won [Tae Hui] for winning Best Female Newcomer and Best Male Newcomer for Ojakgyo Brothers.

Lee Dong Wook's and Lee Si Yeong's romantic comedy, "Wild Romance" airs on KBS tonight.

Ji Jin Hee's and Gu Hye Sun's "Take Care of Us, Captain" airs at SBS tonight as well.

Finally, Kim Soo Hyun's and Jung Il Woo's and Han Ga In's fusion saegeuk, "Moon That Embraces The Sun" will also air premier on MBC tonight.

These three dramas will be competing against each other in the same time slot. I will surely be watching Wild Romance and Moon That Embraces The Sun as they air. Take Care of Us, Captain... will have to wait... because I really don't like Gu Hye Sun [but I'll watch because of Ji Jin Hee].

I sincerely hope that the subbing groups will be so generous to sub on time, too. : )

Has it been a year already? It passed so fast! This year, I started downloading raws instead of just watching from the online streaming sites. Because of this, I couldn't watch as fast as I wanted to because I am limited by the availability of the subtitles. No matter what, I also couldn't bring myself to go back to online streaming... my patience has run short for that. The downside of downloading raws is that I am left with reading the recaps first, before watching the episode... and after knowing what's going to happen, I lose interest and just stop watching them. That figures why I have a handful unfinished dramas this year.

My Top Three Dramas of 2011

There were several dramas that tickled my insides, promising dramas that I thought would make it to my list of favorites. Unfortunately, after the rush of adrenaline has died down, I realized they didn't really make sense, lol. Lie To Me drove me crazy, but after it ended, it didn't stay on my mind. The same goes for Myung Wol, The Spy. My Princess was also a delight when it aired, but afterwards, I saw its flaws. 49 Days kept me on my toes, but until now, I just couldn't get how she had to go back only to die again. I have not forgiven the writer for not even giving a chance for our leads to be truthful with their feelings. Argh, I hate it. Best Love also fueled my hunger for a romantic comedy... but I was so fixed on that heart disease thing that when it was just resolved lightly, I was so disappointed. It's my fault for having given that angle so much consideration when it didn't really matter that much after all. I also enjoyed Dream High.

After some thought, my list is final. I cannot make up my mind which of the three dramas rank first, second or third. I just know I immensely liked these three.

First Fave Drama of 2011: Secret Garden

Need I say why? I love Joo Won. He's the first of those flawed, imperfect chaebols on the market. Chaebols used to be so competent, confident and impeccable. Then Joo Won appeared in kdramaland. At first, I was wary, but later on, I loved him. The magical switching of bodies didn't really make sense, but I loved the drama so much, I could look past that, lol. I don't need to justify it. I just like ~~Hyun Bin~~ aw, this. Period.

Second Fave Drama of 2011: Protect the Boss

Don't say I like these twisted, sick chaebols, it's a coincidence, I swear! I was so happy when this drama premiered. Secret Garden was already finished early in the year and after several promising dramas, I wasn't really that satisfied, until Ji Hyun came along. After the string of the new bred of chaebols in kdramaland, Ji Hyun being traumatic was not the one which caught my heart. No, it's not his cute face, lol. It's his purity of his heart, his childlike honestly, his innocence. He's my most favorite male character. He knew what he wanted and went after it... with no pretensions and no manipulations. Though for a split second, he attempted to be the noble idiot, he regretted it so much, he quickly took back what he said. Secretary Noh is also unforgettable. I love her feisty, brave character. How I wish our female leads have her strength and frankness. Of course, I got annoyed when she played noble idiot too, but... at least Ji Hyun managed to overturn her. I will never forget Moo Won and Na Yun and Chairman Cha. These characters are epic, I love them to death.

Third Fave Drama of 2011: The Princess' Man

My one and only saeguk for 2011. I am also surprised that this one managed to be on my favorite list but I have to be honest to say that it has been awhile since a melodrama touched my heart. Despite being labeled a tragic love story which should have shunned me, this one managed to get hold of me at episode one. I love the storyline, I love the twists. I cried with Seryeong a lot of times in the same way I feared for her. By far, I think Seryeong is kdramaland's bravest female lead. She fought for her love, even when at a certain point it became somewhat one-sided. I loved how she cling to him, went against the law, went against her parents, went all the way to die with for him and with him. I was so prepared for their deaths but it was such a delightful surprise that we managed a happy ending after all. I love this drama's musical score, the forceful dialogue, the thrill, the suspense, the tragedy. This one is beautifully made.

I wish I could put Ojakgyo Brothers and Brain on the list because these two are really interesting too. However, since they're still currently airing, I couldn't say with certainty at this point, that they would end well.

So far, it was such a colorful year in kdramaland. Cheers and here's hoping for more awesome dramas in the coming year!

Yes, I got to watch this Kim Ha Neul and Jang Geun Seok starrer earlier than I expected. I am truly grateful to the volunteers at darksmurfsub for subbing this kmovie. I came home from a party last night, but despite the deepness of the night, I watched this till the wee hours of the morning.

I understand that this movie is based on a japanese drama. I basically wanted to check this out because of Kim Ha Neul and Jang Geun Seok.

I find the overall plot ridiculous, actually. It reminded me of the absurdity of jdrama Absolute Boyfriend, hahaha. It's not bad, no, but I just couldn't relate to the plot. I mean, what girl would allow a total stranger to live with her because he was her pet? I thought he was just there because of the rent and the 'pet' thing wasn't that vital. However, Eun Ji [played by Kim Ha Neul] held on to Momo [Jang Geun Seok] until the end, it didn't make sense to me. She had a perfectly nice suitor going after her, but she stupidly ditched him for her pet. Hello? Hehehe... I may have gotten used to how the characters in a drama are thoroughly developed, that's why I found it hard to adjust the hurried execution of the plot. The movie's almost two hours, but despite that, I find that the writing lacks fluidity. It wasn't explicitly shown how the main characters developed feelings for each other. Well, for Eun Ji, yeah, a bit, because of the way she was hesitating on her dates with her suitor. But for Momo, I didn't really see how he came to develop feelings for her at all. There was a little concern he had for her, but I read it as a dongsaeng's concern for his Nuna; except for that instance when he tried to kiss her, I couldn't see where the romantic feelings came from.

Even then, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Kim Ha Neul flaunt her fashion in the movie. She's really beautiful and I really like her. What is more, it was refreshing to see Jang Geun Seok again. Acting cute wasn't necessary for him, he's already cute per se. Him singing several times in the movie is a plus too. Speaking of singing, I thought the OST carried all the songs played on the movie, but unfortunately, the OST only carries one single sang by Kim Ha Neul and Jang Geun Seok. The song "You're My Pet" is playful, but I really wanted the rest of the songs in the movie, huhuhu.

Flower Boy Ramyun Shop, episode 13

I am finally enjoying a quiet evening in my home to catch up with my dramas. Being away somehow kept me detached and I lost my momentum.

I just realized that at episode 13, it's only Chi Su and Kang Hyuk who have been developed thoroughly. I mean, Eun Bi is still the same like she was at the start of the drama. With only a few episodes to go, we still don't even have an official couple. She needs to choose which of the two. It's obvious that she likes Chi Su, and I do understand how she is hesitating, but I don't get why she had to go and hook up with Kang Hyuk too when she clearly doesn't like him. Hello, dating both of them in one day? That's going overboard for me.

Of course, it's a drama, but I don't see how Eun Bi would want Chi Su to live in her world and give up what he has [is this Protect the Boss? lol]. Though young, I don't know how Chi Su could think rationally that his world is a better choice, and Eun Bi couldn't. I mean, wasn't that her objective in the first place, to find a rich guy? So why is she acting this way? It's ridiculous.

I didn't like Chi Su going over and spending the night with her... just to make a point that he can also live in her world. But I have to say, them being awkward, lying together, had me smiling. Aigoo, Chi Su, you're just too cute.

The chewing gum kiss : ) Guess how many times I replayed this scene?

Before I thoroughly watched episode 7, I was scanning it, desperate to see any confrontation of Kang Hun and Ji Hye about the kiss. You can imagine my disappointment when they acted like that heated moment did not happen at all. Waaaahhhhaaaa! I wanted to hear what Kang Hun had to say, why he kissed her. Was he just mocking her confession [I don't think so], or does he already like her so much, he couldn't contain his feelings when he heard she likes him. It's the second, I bet my life. Whoa, such a breathtaking kiss, my knees went weak, promise.

I don't know what to think of Kang Hun's desire to transfer to Hye Sung Hospital. It's a logical choice, but I hope he doesn't get accepted. If he does, he'll be far from Ji Hye. I hope he just continues to bear his dire situation in Cho Sung Hospital.

Omo, it's sad that Prof. Seong Cheol is the doctor who caused the death of Kang Hun's father. I reckon this would add to Kang Hun's hatred for him. Why did Dr. Seong Cheol's fear the dark?

Joon Seok is turning wicked. Oh boy. He had such an easygoing character earlier. I'm not used to seeing him rude.

Is it just me, or did Kang Hun react when that rich girl touched his face and hugged him from the back? He hesitated. I was afraid he would also kiss her. Gosh.

Too bad I'm going out of town for five days today. Will miss my dramas.

Wow, this drama's writer sure knows how to write a mixture of everything. The plot does not just substantially revolve around what's happening with the surgeries and the patients, it has equally given the same development with the characters. And I love this writer's pace!

I never anticipated Ji Hye to just blurt out her feelings for Kang Hun at episode 6!

It's not that time when he taught her to tie the thread, it's not that time when they spent the night together in the ICU, it's certainly not that time when Ji Hye confessed her feelings for him. The exact time when Kang Hun realized he likes Ji Hye too was when he voluntarily, spontaneously and humbly apologized to the patient's daughter so that the latter would stop being rude to Ji Hye. I can see him struggle, as if wanting to rush to Ji Hye's side and help her. Unlike Joon Seok, Kang Hun surprised me with his action. No matter how he will deny his feelings in the future, I know he likes her back. This early. Poor, poor Joon Seok.

I'm very uncomfortable watching Kang Hun being the underdog here --- he's so beaten in every twist and turn. It's hard seeing him do his best, only to be manipulated by others. Thank goodness there's Ji Hye to help him in her little way. I hope Kang Hun won't give in to that rich girl and that he will continue to rely on his own abilities.

I am dying to watch episode 7. I'm still downloading it. I don't think I can watch it tonight. Kudos to the volunteers of DSS for the subs.

I regret having started this drama late. It's so good, you have to watch it yourself!

You could say this is the typical medical drama but there's something new in this one. The male lead, Dr. Lee Kang Hun, is one very interesting specie. At the onset, I was pissed off by him. His character is disgusting as he played to go along with medical politics in the hospital. But, episode per episode, as I get to see his superficial layers rip off one by one, revealing himself little by little, as I put myself in his shoes, I have come to pity him, I have come to understand him. Like Ji Hye is getting drawn to him, so am I.

I thought that Kang Hun would go after Ji Hye the minute he knew that Dr. Seo did not leave for Stanford for her. Yes, being the rascal that he was, I thought he would stoop so low as to do that just to get back at Dr. Seo. It doesn't look like it at this point. I think he's slowly noticing Ji Hye and how warm she is, the way Dr. Seo did. On the other hand, I think Ji Hye is falling for Kang Hun first. Nothing is louder to confirm this when she looked for the hard copy of the research in order to spare Kang Hun of any possible consequence for his previous act in the conference.

What bothers me is that illegitimate girl who has the hots for Kang Hun. At present, she's just there waiting for her timing to pounce of him. I bet she will do that as soon as Kang Hun and Ji Hye has become a couple.

Cannot wait for the next episode.

Omg, this episode is smokin' hot, hot, hot! My knees almost melted like Eun Bi's, lol!

I think Onion has a lesser chance at winning Eun Bi now. This episode only showed Eun Bi's recurring attraction for Chi Su. If Onion wants to grab Eun Bi, he needs to be as slick as Chi Su and steal those steamy kisses from her. I wonder how Eun Bi would react to Onion's skinship, too. At episode 12, it's high time she makes her choice so that we can have official couple moments for them.

Ba Wool having unconscious feelings for Eun Bi? Eh? Nah, I don't think so. He's probably just possessive of her, being the nuna he knows while growing up.

Dong Jo and the Coach, interesting. Haven't heard Dong Jo mention her fiance lately. She's ending with the Coach. So obvious.

I still can't quite figure out how Chi Su's mom went with his dad, when she has a husband and child in Japan. I don't think she got divorced. Was she forcefully taken by Chi Su's dad or what? I mean, if she went voluntarily because of love, why would she cry every night for her child and husband?

It's too bad this drama's ending next week. Huhuhu.

Does this drama have a thousand episodes? I just feel it's moving too slow I'm afraid I might have to let go soon.

Honestly, at the rate this one is going, it feels like a weekend drama with at least thirty episodes. I mean, it practically shows us what happens to Su Yeon in the office, at home, at aunt's home, her talks with Jae Min. Over and over again. Nothing new there. I may be cruel for saying this, I'm actually glad to see Su Yeon's symptoms come out here and there - isn't that what it's all about?. The rest? The same pushing off Ji Hyung, little fights with her brother, caring moments with her aunt, screaming bouts of her cousin... How much more do I have to endure?

Omo, I have nothing to say of Ji Hyung dad, telling his mom she raised a bad son. ~!@##$$%^^&*(

I wonder why we still have to see scenes of Hyang Gi and Ji Hyung? I thought that one's over already. Wait a minute... yeah, when Su Yeon does marry Ji Hyung, the rest of Hyang Gi's family won't have any significance in the show right? Or, are they staying till the end? Doing what?

It's taking all of my might to stop myself from abandoning this one. If not for Kim Rae Won and Su Ae, I would have... the drama's atmosphere is just too slow and quiet for me. The lines are good, the acting excellent, but, I'm almost becoming bored.

The episode when our couple indirectly admitted their special feelings for each other. Yeong Gwang, by saying he's going crazy because of her with matching holding hand, and Jae In by saying 'this should be alright, right?' with matching laying her head on his shoulders... and crying. Am I the only one who feels weird that these supposed to be half siblings are doing these things?

Of course I pity them because of the big misunderstanding, but until that point that both of them know they aren't related at all, I'm not gonna be thrilled with this couple. I hope they discover it very soon, for their sake.

That being an obstacle before I can support them, I'm enjoying In U's new behavior when he's in love. : ) I like how he was being carefree with Jae In and playful. I still have this hunch that like what happened in Baker King, there's gonna be a twist on the couple. I think Jae In's ending with In U. Mark my word.

Boy, I'm so relieved that Yeong Gwang finally connected the dots and he's realized his dad had a hand in hiding Jae In from the rest of the world. Whether that will work to his advantage or not, I really liked it because we're finally moving. I mean, doesn't this drama's pace a little too slow? I hear it's up to 24 episodes, but the rate we're going feels like it's 30.

Never in my wildest imagination! Who would have thought these two are half brothers? How did it happen? Chi Su is younger, so that means Hubby's mom divorced his father, then remarried Chi Su's dad and... divorced him?

It's actually an unexpected fuzzy feeling, seeing these two communicate like friends rather than treating each other like enemies. I thought Chi Su would ask his friend to teach him to cook noodles, but it's good that he mustered courage to humbly ask him instead. Aw, this is really a true bromance, huh?

Before, I was an avid Chi Su supporter, but after this episode, I'm so undecided. My heart sank with Onion Hubby when he saw that kiss. Despite that, he was even the one making excuses for Eun Bi. And yes, like him, I thank Eun Bi for returning. I think he knows Eun Bi likes Chi Su. I think Eun Bi likes Chi Su, too. She's just thinking with her brain that's why she's shoving the thought out of her mind.

If I were Eun Bi... 26 years old, jobless, waiting for Mr. Right...? I would choose Hubby. She already said it herself, what would she be doing with a high school-er, who haven't taken his exams, who haven't served the military... ? Hubby is the rational choice. That's my opinion, but honestly, I can't predict whom she would choose because I can see she also knows Hubby is also a good catch.

Lol, I was laughing so hard when Eun Bi was considering herself an ~~'easy' woman~~ er loose woman and she agreed with herself. Lol. Go, Eun Bi!

I wasn't planning to watch this KBS medical drama, but when it premiered this week at KBS World, I took a glimpse just to see what's its general environment.

In the first hour, I was in for a surprise. I liked the first two episodes, I'm hooked already. I am stopping myself from downloading the recent episodes because I intend to watch this at KBS World only [what's the use of cable if I don't watch my dramas there?].

My husband said he's reminded of Grey's Anatomy when he watched this, and yeah, maybe because it's a medical drama and involves surgery, though this one only focuses on neurosurgery.

My last medical drama was New Heart which I immensely enjoyed. It seems I'm going to see this through because the two episodes nailed me. I love how complex the male lead is [Gang Hoon, played by Shin Ha Kyun. I can't wait to see how he and Yoon Ji Hye [Choi Jung Won, whom I last saw in Stars Falling From The Sky], will develop feelings for each other, given the fact that they hate each other so, so much.

If you haven't watched this, give this a try. You'll love it. Promise. : )

A Thousand Days' Promise, episode 8

Watching episode 8, I see that we have already moved on to what this drama is supposed to be in the first place - it's about the disease of Su Yeon. I have always thought a love triangle and all the other hoopla in the drama is already too many to lead the drama go wandering. Now, we can focus on Su Yeon and how the disease will slowly affect her.

Because Ji Hyung did not attempt to pursue Su Yeon after he dumped Hyang Gi, and I've seen him being at least remorseful for what he did, I think I'm ready to open my heart on him and let go of my disgust for him. As I've said, I am more interested with the disease, rather than the love story, so I'm relieved we're past the drama on that angle.

I am already on Su Yeon's side now and I want her to have somebody take care of her properly. If Ji Hyung is that person, then, I support him. I can already see how this will affect her aunt and the rest of the family members, when they know of it.

This drama pretty much gives me a "Scent of a Woman" feel [which I have to finish yet]. I hope this will end realistically, like SOAW. I'd be disappointed if the writer suddenly whips up some magic to heal Su Yeon.

I'm now at pace with this drama's currently airing episodes... um, which I hate because the waiting just drives me crazy.

Big squeal from me, honest! That last scene, yey, go Chi Su!!! It took Chi Su ten episodes to figure out his feelings and I'm so glad he has understood his heart at last. Through this, he can move forward and the plot will go crazy from here, I reckon. The preview reveals he's going to confess and Eun Bi's not liking it. I expect the same reaction from his friends and Chicken. Eun Bi's friends would not be a problem, I'm more concerned how Abuji will take the current situation. There's a probability he might not be harsh because he's been there, but I think he will discourage him from pursuing the relationship and taking things further. He's been shown as an overly protective of Chi Su, even to the extent of Chi Su's feelings, so as father, he will dissuade him because it will not work out.

I've been thinking of my favorite drama this year, and there's one on my mind already. However, after how things are moving with FBRS, I have a feeling this might be my fave drama of the year [unless it messes up in the last two or three episodes like some dramas I've watched].

I had a lot of laughs in this episode. Lol, I thought it will be the guys who were going all out for Eun Bi, but it's actually Eun Bi checking Chi Su and Hubby after their actions in the ladies' bathroom.

The writer is cruel because he/she is torturing us with this double meaning words and scenes and keeping us on our toes with anticipation. I mean, hello, the attraction of Eun Bi and Chi Su is so obvious, I want them to get together. Now! I bet a lot of viewers were full of anticipation with those intimate moments of Eun Bi and the two guys.

I laughed so hard with that random song player that Chi Su was using to test his feelings. I swear, when I was younger, my friends and I go karaoke singing and we decide the fates of our love lives based on the next song that will be played. I remember we would fool around and announce that the next song will be this boy's song for me. Hahaha, Chi Su, don't worry, you are not alone.

Is it just me, or does Eun Bi really like Chi Su to fall for her? It seemed like she was kinda down when he said his feelings were only that way because she insulted him. Based on what I see, I think she wanted to hear something more meaningful than that. The first episode came to play on my mind when Eun Bi was calling Chi Su 'oppa' and asking him to date her. I bet she's her choice. But... well, I have yet to see her reaction to that last scene when hubby kissed her [did he, really?].

By the way, are the days of 'Jagi-Euppeonni' over? That was it? I would have loved to see more cute but fake scenes of Eun Bi and Chi Su.

I'm like, 'what, I'm still at episode 7?', I've been reading the recaps that it felt like I've seen more, lol.

Kidding aside, I think my interest of this drama dropped a little when Ji Hyung decided to break the engagement. I don't want him to, I feel the same with his parents and with Hyang Gi's parents. How dare he back out at the last minute? He should at least marry Hyang Gi to spare everybody the humiliation and the hurt. I mean, why does he have to insist his own selfish reason? He's the one at fault, so he should at least bear some punishment like go through with the wedding even for appearances' sake. I sound twisted, but even at episode one, I have been really against their hidden relationship. I'm sorry, but I'm not taking his side, even if he's the lead. I want him to suffer. I hate cheaters! He could have shown such courage before when he first met Su Yeon, then I would have approved. But what? Now he backs out after he knows of Su Yeon's illness and now cries he can't enter a loveless marriage? Bullshit, Ji Hyung. You changed your mind when you learned of the illness. I will forever doubt your sincerity.

I was taken aback by Ji Hyung's mom's behavior when she met Su Yeon. I thought she would start screaming and do all the typical stuff kdrama moms do, but she impressed me with her composure, her grace under pressure. When she said that had she known what her son wanted before, she would have helped him get it, I pitied her [okay, even Ji Hyung, hmph].

I was also cheering for Hyang Gi's mom when she was beating Ji Hyung. I welcome her anger, her screams, her rude behavior. Why? Because she did what I wanted to do. Watching her like that somehow eased my disgust for Ji Hyung.

What's with the fathers here? They're blaming their wives about their children's behavior, as if they don't have anything to do with them. Hello, abujis, maybe your kids became like that because you didn't take part in raising them, aigoo.

I am also cheering for Su Yeon because she remained her cool and remained firm not to go straight to Ji Hyungs arms [this soon]. I already know what lies ahead, but at least, this far, she's keeping her ground. I'd hate her if she actively has anything to do with the broken engagement. Thank goodness Ji Hyung, that jerk, did not involve her in his twisted plan.

Hyang Gi? Why are you covering him girl? It's not like he's coming back. Go tell your parents, blurt it out, so that he'll get what he deserves.

I'm happy for Chi Su that he's taking advantage of this unexpected development with Eun Bi... even though it is pretend, I see how he's taking the 'boyfriend' part so seriously [of course, for his own benefit, lol].

Instead of 'Jagi' and 'Hubby' competing for Eun Bi's affections, I actually welcome the sudden appearance of the ex-boyfriend. It's amusing to see these two hot guys trying hard to win Eun Bi over Jae Ho. Man, an ex-boyfriend [and first love at that] with six years together? Boys, you don't stand a chance, I swear! : ) Seriously, isn't it so easy to go back to an ex-flame, because it takes very little effort to pick up where one left off [I speak from experience, lol]?

Honestly, I totally get Eun Bi and her struggle with the present situation with Jae Ho. It's totally convincing. Her behavior is natural... being swayed by lingering feelings, blown by sweet memories of the past, I sympathize with her. I didn't like Chi Su being angry and shouting at her. Of course he's still a child, so he's acting that way, but I don't support him being like that, while Eun Bi was emotional over a possible reconciliation with Jae Ho.

I also pity Chi Su in this episode. Being so young, he's lacking in experience and I can see how he couldn't quite understand about 'songs' being so much more than they are. Slowly, his emotional journey will teach him what Jae Ho, Eun Bi, Husband, and Dad are talking about.

Flower Boy Ramyun Shop, episode 7

Oh my gawd, I nearly fell off my chair when Cha Chi Su arrived in the shop looking like that! Chi Su, saranghe!

This drama just keeps me going and going and going. It's light, but it has it's own melo moments, like how everybody's having these misconceptions about his intentions and his actions and keep pushing him away. I could feel how Chi Su's struggling, given his limited abilities, to blend in the group to score plus points towards Eun Bi. Too bad, his actions appear differently to the rest of the group than what he wants to be seen. I wanna give him a big hug. Aigoo.

I was worried the Dad would turn into the typical chaebol dad [like Junpyo's Mom] but at least for now, he's staying as he is --- an overprotective, clueless Dad who doesn't want to disappoint his son, lol.

The latest twist of the Ex-BF appearing suddenly just made my day --- because his existence has forced our couple to get together when they were in the brink of separation.

Can't wait to see how this false 'Jagi-Ippeonni' Thing-y unfold : )

Me Too, Flower!, E1

Omo, Kim Tak Gu! : )

With some concluded dramas I have yet to finish, plus the currently airing dramas which episodes I still have to watch, I don't know what came over me when I clicked episode 1 of this relatively new drama. I guess, I was dying to see how Yoon Si Yoon from Baker King is doing in this one. I think this is his comeback after the success of Baker King.

First, what's with the title? There's Flower Boys of Ramyun Shop and now this one. Maybe I even tried this to see what kind of flower are we talking here, lol.

Episode 1 didn't catch me that much. It dragged in some scenes and I really don't like that suspenseful air when flashbacks of what seemed like Seo Jae Hui's past were shown. What is more, I'm not so enthusiastic with the plot playing around the police station and the police woman, Cha Bong Seon [Lee Ji Ah]. Even the second female lead [I suppose she is the second female lead] didn't sit quite right because she seriously looks too old for Yoon Si Yoon. If there is something that made me happy in this first installment, it's Lee Ki Gwang, lol.

I hope I can finish this one. Subs at DSS aren't that fast too.

I found a site to download updated kdrama torrents, yey!

I usually comb the soompi forums for the posts of members citing raw links for dramas. However, sometimes when the drama is so popular, the posts are so voluminous, it takes forever to look for the links [of semifly :)]. Thank kdrama god, I found a Korean site for torrent links of dramas --- TorrentRG.Com.

Don't be so intimidated to look at the site in Hanggul, because if you are using chrome, there's a button on the upper part of the screen which asks you whether you want it translated. Just click yes, and the English characters appear. Word of caution, though. Because the translation is a literal translation, you have to do your own abilities to figure out the corresponding English title of the kdrama, hehehe --- but it's absolutely figure-able, if you ask me.

Man Of Honor, episode 12

I'm still standing by my initial preference that I would rather have In U and Jae In together in the end. I just love how In U is so at peace with Jae In's mere existence. Rather than Yeong Gwang who is confident, a fighter and one who can take care of himself, with or without Jae In, I think In U deserves Jae In more, lol.

Before anything else, just how many episodes does this drama have, anyway? We're already at episode 12, but the plot isn't that compelling enough drive the story to it's climax, not for a 16-20 episode drama. Is this going to be like Baker King with 30 episodes? Even then, Baker King's plot was so fast, it got me breathless episode per episode. I don't feel that in Man of Honor.

Nothing really much happening here except maybe for the selection of the interviewees who made it to the next round --- and In U's sincere apology for Jae In. I expect In U will use all his [limited] might to protect Jae In in the future. I'm glad that at the end, Yeong Gwang got his father's watch because it will mean that the drama will finally move its much needed development.

As for Jae In... hmmm... I'd be sad to see her when she discovers that all the people surrounding her whom she thinks as her family are actually her 'enemies'. I don't know what to expect when she does unravel the truth about her past.

Not much progress on Jae In's mom, huh?

Flower Boys of Ramyun Shop, episode 6

Omo, these guys here are so touchy, eh? Eun Bi is just casually being held closely by hubby and Chi Su here, I'm wondering how she doesn't get angry every time they do. That could only mean she's either shock or she likes them, lol.

Just as I thought, Hubby's gonna score a few good points as far as Eun Bi is concerned, while Chi Su got whatever points he has taken away.

The plot seems like it's standing still, so slow that there were times I felt bored. Of course, I didn't feel like it during Chi Su's scenes, lol. I'm really enjoying how Chi Su has apparently gone crazy... literally, bwahahaha. So far, it's only Chi Su's side that's being developed as far as his feelings for Eun Bi is concerned. I can't imagine when Eun Bi feels the same [Is she going to?].

Apart from Chi Su's comedic crazy scenes, I'm also having fun watching his father, lol. Poor daddy who couldn't even raise his voice on his son.

I'll hold FBRS at this moment and go catch up with the others first.

Kim Hyun Joong on Manila Bulletin's Style Weekend

I was surprised when I looked at yesterday's Manila Bulletin Style Weekend. It's got Kim Hyun Joong on the cover. We were on the run because we were traveling back home from the hospital which was four hours away, but I still managed to grab a copy of the magazine and brought it home.

I haven't been that chatty about KHJ lately, but in my older posts, I was really into him during his We Got Married days and Boys Over Flowers. I even endured his drama, Playful Kiss, even if I was bored to death with it [sorry to the fans].

Anyway, earlier this year, KHJ visited the country as an endorser of The Face Shop. He was here briefly but too bad, he was almost two hours away from me by plane.

His short interview in the magazine reveals the following:

His latest album "Lucky" debuted number 5 on the Billboard World Album which makes him very, very happy. He is pressured to make an even better album in the future.
His favorite song in the latest album is "Lucky Guy".
He would like to do a collaboration with some/another artist in the future, probably early next year. He did not reveal which artist, saying he wants to surprise his fans.
Future plans include not only an Asian Concert Tour, but a World Tour by sometime in the middle of 2012.
Right now, he's preparing for a new drama series, the title of which he can't reveal yet. He starts shooting early next year.
He promised to make Manila a part of the World Tour [I'm crossing my fingers and my toes].

I hope his next drama would be revealed soon --- something that won't be burdensome for me to watch, lol.

Flower Boys of Ramyun Shop, episode 5

[Got lazy to write my thoughts on episode 4, lol].

Lovin' this cable drama more and more. I love the two scenes above. Kinda identical but definitely brought out different feelings from me. When Eun Bi was touching Chi Su's heart, I truly hear the beating heart, even if it wasn't audible like that. With the hubby, not so much effect from me, lol.

Glad to finally understand who and what the 'hubby' is and why he arrived in the first place. Forgive me for saying this, but 'hubby' is not a threat to me... while at least this time. I expect that after this episode, they'll have a lot more bickering since they will now officially live together. That means, I guess I'll be swayed by then.

It was hilarious seeing Chi Su not figuring out his stuffy heart. He treats it as an illness, lol. How is he going to cure it, then? Eun Bi currently loathes him, and that would mean so much more fights with her to get her attention.

What's up with Ms. Lily? I mean, really?! Two timing both guys without even hiding the fact, hahaha. Well, they're kids.

My mom's finally discharged from the hospital yesterday. My drama life will now resume : )

Man of Honor, episode 11

Oh my goodness! Minus that 'birth secret' angle, this would have been a squeal moment, when our couple is about to taste their first kiss. Unfortunately, because of this dragging misunderstanding, instead of glee, I was actually afraid for Yeong Gwang and want to smack his head [dude, she's supposed to be your half sister!]. Aside from that, I'm also apprehensive how Jae In will react to his incestuous actuation.

It's really the pits that I'm left hanging with this episode, and I can't move on to the next because I haven't downloaded the raw since my internet connection in the hospital is crawling. I don't want to read the recaps and spoil the episode, too.

I have to say that I had to skip some parts that time when Yeong Gwang was performing in the party. I felt so bad for him, and I swear, my blood pressure rose watching the devilish look of In U's dad. I cannot wait to see how he ends up in the final episode. I am fuming with so much anger on him.

On the other hand, I'm still having partial inclinations for In U, especially in this episode when I could tell he pitied Yeong Gwang at the party, too. Him calling Jae In, bringing Yeong Gwang home and piggy-backing him just upped more points for him from me. Whoa, I don't want to see him lose Jae In in the end.

My heart is already beating faster, as the plot is steadily rising to the climax. I can't wait to see how ajummeoni takes the fact that Jae In is not her late husband's daughter. I hope she doesn't spill this delicate fact to her eldest daughter who's currently in connivance with In Cheol.

This is really Baker King all over again.

Oppa! Oppa, Oppa!

Why can't Jae In say it? Hmmm, it seems Jae In is developing weird feelings for her false sibling, huh?

I think I've previously written that I like In U for Jae In, but these cute scenes between Jae In and Yeong Gwang really tickled me that I want them together too, lol. Seriously, I really want this big misunderstanding cleared up already so that they'll be free to nurture their budding feelings without guilt or anything.

Unfortunately, those scenes with a conflicted In U also want me him getting Jae In in the end. While Yeong Gwang is still so clueless about Jae In's identity, In U has been quick to comprehend that matter and in his own way, he has been trying his best to protect her. I appreciate his efforts and for that, I want him rewarded in the end by not getting rejected by Jae In.

It was nice seeing ajummeoni and Jae In getting closer and I can't wait to see the day ajummeoni discover Jae In's true identity. By that time, I hope that she will also be able to protect Jae In in the future --- she is going to need it.

I'm still in the hospital, waiting for my mom to recover from her minor surgery, so I'm having free time to catch on my dramas.

Mwoya? What is this? This drama gave me the air of happy - go - lucky, no worries vibes, thus a death this early had my mouth hanging suddenly. Really, mwo?

I don't know, I'm just so, so into Chi Su and Eun Bi. I can't believe it's the intern who's first harboring some disturbing feelings for the student. Isn't that prohibited, lol. I mean, it's usually the student who falls for the teacher first and not the other way around.

This early, I don't think Chi Su already likes Eun Bi. He's just the typical teenager who's fooling around with his teacher. When I heard about how he always says "you're beautiful" or "your mole is pretty" just to shut the girls up, I felt bad for Eun Bi. She was already affected by his forehead kiss, but it turned out it didn't mean that much at all.

I wonder how the death of Eun Bi's father will affect the present plot. He didn't die because of Chi Su when he pushed him, no? And what's with that second guy? He behaves weirdly to me, not mysterious, lol.

Is it just me, or is the editing of this drama bad? The commercials are just inserted without warning, it just cuts the scene abruptly. Sad.

Finally have time to continue my dramas while here in thehospital tending to my mom since last week. I got a bit disoriented which show to watch first.

Anyway, something’s wrong because I want In U with Jae In. Just as I predicted that this falsestep-siblings thing is going to bother me, it was awkward hearing JaeIn andYeong Gwang say “I like you” to each other. Lol, even the two of them feel weird.

It was unexpected that the pace is so fast that In U swiftlyconnected the dots so well, he’s now aware about Jun Jae In’s existence and howher life will be in danger the moment his father knows of her.

I still can’t figure if the counterpart of Tak Gu here isYeong Gwang or Jae In. That team leaderseems to be paving the way for Yeong Gwang, but based on Baker King, it’s gotto be Jae In who will ultimately recover her father’s shares and company.

In the drama, Su Yeon just won back Ji Hyung when the latter canceled his wedding with Hyang Gi. Outside the drama, she's currently enjoying much praises for her rendition of Su Yeon, who is an Alzheimer patient. I am one with those who finds her acting very convincing in her currently airing drama. But that's not all.

Uhm Tae Woong just recently, finally admitted that he's got a crush on Soo Ae at a variety show in MBC [Come Out to Play].

I don't know how Tae Woong has been so vocal about her lately. When he was still new in 2Days 1Night, I watched him casually call Soo Ae in the episode, to ask her for some clues. During that time, he shyly revealed that her only woman friend in showbiz is her --- whom he is close to because of his nuna Uhm Jung Hwa. He said his sister used to encourage him to date Soo Ae. He was teased then, but he said they were only friends.

After that one, Soo Ae's name would crop up from time to time in the show, and he's been consistent to say they're just friends who meet up sometimes and eat out. I remember reading 'when I wanted to eat out, I'd call her if she has eaten, and if not, I ask her to eat with me'.

Then, just lately in KBS Show Win - Win, he said she's pretty but they're really just friends. He said, when either of them are dating, they don't see each other much. Now in Come Out to Play, he has finally admitted having a crush on her, but that they are just friends. In the show, Kim Ha Neul asked him if he would introduce Soo Ae to any of his friends then, and Tae Woong is said to have replied a serious 'No', that he doesn't have any intention of introducing her to others.

I'm actually surprised why Tae Woong's so vocal about it these days. Does he watch Soo Ae's drama and seeing her with Kim Rae Won in those bed scenes pushed him to put his dibs on her [in case KRW gets carried away, lol]? I've been watching Tae Woong regularly at 2Days 1Night and based on what I see, he's the silent, shy type [though dorky]. Hearing and reading about this fondness for Soo Ae is so out of character.

If they end up dating in real life, I think they look well together. But you know what? I'd really want him with Kim Ha Neul because of the Actress Special in 2D1N : )

I've adjusted my antenna for this one and have gotten used to the light, comical, youthful atmosphere of the drama. I'm seriously loving it, oh gawd. I guess my unfinished dramas will stay that way for a while.

I haven't been reading the recaps for this, so I'm totally clueless what's about to unfold in the near future. I'm not sure if the Ms. Eun Bi would actually play as love interest of Chi Soo or is her character similar to the kbs drama before with the teacher just guiding the hopeless high school students [sorry, so lazy to recall the name].

Anyway, it's going to be such an adventure if they indeed become a couple, but I hope that won't be too burdensome for Eun Bi to the effect of ruining her chances of being a teacher for 'seducing' a student. I mean, isn't there a prohibitions against that effect, if the student is a minor? So, for Eun Bi's sake, I hope this silly joke between them would remain just like that.

There's the other guy appearing in the next episode. Cool, because it seems like he's Eun Bi's age. I still have to figure it out if I'm shipping for him. I still can't see Chi Soo as he is; I see him as the Scheduler, and in that case, I'm all for him, lol.

Geez, I had a hard time just to watch episode 1. I've finished downloading the four episodes, and when I clicked episode 1 last night, it wouldn't play on VLC, Media Classic Player and Windows Media Player. I had to read around and learned the videos of this drama play on GOM, so I downloaded GOM Player just for this.

I downloaded the Bangsuk 450p version because DSS subs will be using it. WithS2 will be using the Hanrel version I heard, but I don't see semifly uploading hanrel. Getting very excited to watch it, I was a little disappointed that the subs weren't even 50% done at DSS, so I had no resort to try the subs of dramafever ripped by somebody in soompi... and I used it, only to find out, it's not for the Bangsuk version. Well who cares, a couple of seconds delay in the subs did not kill me, lol. [any of you who want the link for the subs, just tell me. I'm still waiting for the DSS subs once it's done before I post the link in my Download Link blog].

Anyway, well, ... I was already expecting it to be light, but it turned out so much lighter. Straight out from watching Man of Honor and A Thousand Days' Promise, my brain wasn't that used much while I breezed through episode 1. I was just smiling along, thrilled to see the Scheduler, and not really thinking. Can I be honest to say that I was really shocked to see the 'other flowers' of this show --- just way too young and unknown [sorry, haven't seen Kim Bum's shadow - I think he's making an appearance, or something].

OMG, I didn't know our lead is a high school student here, lol. Are they staying this way til the end, or just a flashback or something? I'm wonder how Il Woo accepted the role here. The way I see it, he'll do this without any effort. Totally easy for him.

Still, I'm watching the next episode now. I'm curious how this 'teacher' - 'student' relationship would [not] work.

Man of Honor, episode 8

Oh my goodness, it's gotten so good, I have to hold my breath at many scenes in this one. The cliffhanger is giving me anxiety which I have to endure until I get hold of the subs for tonight's episode.

I'm having a love - hate relationship with In U. Sometimes I loathe him, because I see bits of his father in his ruthless behavior, sometimes I pity him because of his illness, sometimes I like him because he's on his way to falling for Jae In. I'm so bothered because I can see In U genuinely starting to care for Jae In the Dao Ming Zi way or Gu Jun Pyo way [minus the illness] and I am worried I might ship for this couple, huhuhu.

It's still going to be several episodes before Yeong Gwang will discover they aren't related at all, and with that, I think that's about enough time for Jae In and In U to get together. Of course Jae In has special feelings for her Oppa, but she's going to just take that as sisterly love, so I guess she'll give in to In U, especially when he starts opening up to her, plus the fact that he'll be protecting her soon from his dad.

Truth to tell, I thought In U was so dumb that he'd go spill the beans to daddy when he suspected Jae In is the Jae In from his childhood. He actually surprised me. Did he like her when they were kids, too?

This is getting better and better, just like what I felt in Baker King.

Omo, when I saw this scene, my sister's silly kdrama rules just sounded in my mind --- she always says that the OTP is the couple who first kissed. If that's the case... With this drama's deafening congruence to Baker King, I am afraid that there would be a switch of the OTP anywhere, when we least expect it. So I'm guessing that maybe we'll see Jae In and In U first and then later, it's gonna be her 'half - brother', lol.

Seeing In U in Jae In's eyes stirred some strange feelings for me. I used to really be pissed by his annoying character, but this time, I pitied him... to the point that there is a very slight possibility that I might ship for him. It seems that nobody really loves him in this drama, his parents have a weird way of loving him, that I would allow him to have Jae In, if only to compensate him. Sad.

I was surprised that In Cheol's girlfriend is Jae In's 'older half sister'. In that bar scene, I cannot read whether they can be trusted, or they are actually foes as far as Jae In is concerned. I thought In Cheol just wanted to seek revenge, but I can tell that aside from that, he has his own selfish ambition also.

The Team Manager was clear that he was only selecting two applicants as apprentice. Would that be Jae In and In U? They're the only ones left who didn't have a brick to carry to the rooftop. As much as I want to cheer on Oppa, those thirty-five bricks will bring him down. If we analyze this in the plot of Baker King, then that means Tak Gu and Ma Joon there will be Jae In and In U here. That's right, both Tak Gu and Ma Joon were fighting for the company, like Jae In and In U here. Oppa is totally out of the picture. He will be Jae In's cheerer, like that baker's granddaughter in Tak Gu's life.

I so second the motion Hyang Gi's line here 'You should have told me much earlier'. Ji Hyung had one year to tell her, and it's just so inhumane to finally abandon his cowardice at the last minute. I don't agree with him on this.

How could Ji Hyung be so heartless to just say it like he was discarding a worn out shirt.? I pity the poor child. Unless she acts real bitchy and cruel toward Su Yeon later, I am going to have a hard time supporting Ji Hyung's and Su Yeon's relationship because of her. I repeat, I hate third parties.

Ain't it funny that the storm of the whole revelation was presented so calmly, bit by bit, slowly? I was laughing so hard when the fathers were in noraebang and they got the call, lol. What's more funny is that Ji Hyung is doing this now, while his reason for doing this is so clueless. I'd hate to see Su Yeon being the subject of the mothers' wrath when they learn about her [I know it will be very soon]. I think it's also unfair for Ji Hyung to do this, without the knowledge of Su Yeon. Didn't she already say she didn't want a drama for a life?

I believe Ji Hyung only found courage to cancel his wedding because he knew of the illness of Su Yeon. Had he not known, I think he would have gone and proceeded with the marriage. Maybe he feels so guilty having abandoned her, that he thinks he should take care of her.

Would the wedding be really canceled? I don't think so. It could just be probably postponed for a period of 1000 days, lol. Would Su Yeon welcome him back with open arms? Before the mothers pounce on her? I don't think so, because there's a probability that she will mistake it for pity and she doesn't want pity. But who knows, she might do a Yeon Jae from Scent of a Woman, and go all the way, precisely because her time is limited?

I just saw the trailer of Helena's Promise on ABS CBN. The station hasn't given a definite date, just 'soon' for a teaser. This is really "Scent of a Woman" and I don't know how its title got changed to Helena's Promise. First, there's no Helena there, lol. Of course, they can just give Kim Sun Ah's character to Helena [as they always do]. Second, what promise? Promise? Or, did they mean, bucket list??? Then this should have been Helena's Bucket List, aigoo.

I hear the original tracks in the drama... and thank goodness for that. I know when this will be dubbed in Tagalog, the dramatic atmosphere will triple, I swear! Filipino dramas just exaggerate their melodramas so much that I really avoid it.

Lee Dong Wook was really hot in the Philippines during My Girl and I think that's a primary reason why the station bought this in the first place.

Now, I have to finish my last four episodes of this drama, aigoo.

I liked that instead of Ji Hyung who was near her, Su Yeon called Jae Min and asked him to take her home. Of course I know they're going back together soon, but I want it after Ji Hyung breaks up his impending marriage first. Though she may have broken down, I still cheer for Su Yeon for resisting Ji Hyung at this time.

I think I'm alone to say that all those passionate kisses in bed have somehow lost meaning to me. We all want realistic portrayals in our drama, but I'm not so enthusiastic watching Ji Hyung and even Su Yeon remember mostly their moments of physical bliss, like it's lust, rather than love. Just saying. I'm also almost getting tired of the flashbacks that suddenly appear in the drama... but it was rather pleasant that instead of their intimate moments, this episode finally showed us how they started. Still, I can't fathom how fast they fell, and on top of Su Yeon knowing he's engaged, and Ji Hyung knowing he shouldn't be two timing. I mean, sorry, I really don't support such premise.

Anyway, thank goodness, it's all in the open now, and the balls of makjang can finally roll faster. I imagine Su Yeon's family getting worried, the engagement being called off, the fiancee getting clingy and showing her dark side, the mother in law raising hell... all of those.

I was watching Arirang Channel earlier today and it was reported how this drama is currently enjoying number one popularity in SK. Good to hear!

Yeong Gwang, what kind of 'brother' would behave like that, as if a lovesick fool? You've got it bad... and she's supposed to be your 'sister' at this time, aigoo.

Even Jae In going overly happy that Yeong Gwang made a fuss and rushed to the hospital exhibited more than a sisterly reaction, if you ask me. I feel weird even if I know they really aren't half siblings.

I hate the background music in the early part, when Jae In was still running from the bad guys, I could nearly hear my throbbing heart because the music shook me as well, it's as if it was thumping my heart, beat by beat. Aish.

I am so hating that father, he's like a devil. I really thought he would strangle Jae In's mom at the hospital. His expression is just so evil, I want to get rid of him asap.

I don't see why In Cheol would ask Jae In to nurse In U... I mean, the seizures of In U aren't that frequent, and certainly, his disorder does not need a full time nurse. I can't wait to see how Yeong Gwang Oppa will react when he learns of this.

What really made me annoyed in this episode is that scene above. I wasn't paying attention to this before, but is he his father's true son? How come he is physically and verbally abused? The only thing that will make me take his side over the lead is this angle. I so pity him to have a father like that, and a mother who really doesn't give a damn how he is being physically abused by his father. What kind of parents are these two? Aigoo.

I already get a feeling that In Cheol will probably spare the life of Jae In, as a revenge towards that jerk. With the mom waking up, and the leads living together in one house, don't you just see the similarities of this one to Baker King? Or is this supposed to be a spin off of some sort? The elements are just too familiar to miss.

Like Baker King, will Jae In and the rich kid first become a couple, then afterward, it will become her and her mistaken half brother? Remember, in Baker King, it was first Tak Gu and his childhood sweetheart, who later on ended with Majun, and Tak Gu ended up with the daughter of the baker? I think it's going to be like this. Oh, I don't know, if they treat each other like brother and sister and later on harboring romantic feelings for each other, that would be so weird to me.

Hope to catch another episode tonight.

This is such a revealing episode. I did not expect that at this point, the sickness of Su Yeon will already be discovered the other persons. For her sake, I had wanted that to happen and I'm glad we don't have to wait until halfway for that.

I'm really harboring ill thoughts with Jae Min. Is he Su Yeon's true cousin? Or is he adopted? Or something that would allow him to fall for her? Because I was thinking who the second guy would be here... and Jae Min just overly cares for her... could it be? There was a scene when Su Yeon's aunt [Jae Min's mother] mentioned about 'something' which wasn't elaborated [she was like, 'you aren't still thinking about that?']... I dunno, maybe I'm hearing and seeing things [i don't know if the subs were accurate, btw].

Anyway, my heart goes out to Su Yeon's brother, that time when he learned about the illness. I swear, some tears were brimming in my eyes, but I tried to hold it in because my husband was beside me. It just sucks... I don't think there will ever be a way to cure the disease. I am not expecting any happy ending for this drama. Su Yeon's future is just pitch black for any hope.

I'm still frowning over Ji Hyung's attitude with his fiancee. Come on, man, don't just paste an irritated look on your face every time you meet her. Hello? It's your fault you got into this situation. Why did he agree to marry her, in the first place, if he didn't love her? Aigoo, I just wish he doesn't take it out on her every chance he gets.

Episode 3 still fuels my interest on the progressing disease of Su Yeong. I'm just really frustrated that she had to keep it to herself. I mean, how hard is that?

I really hope Su Yeong's family discovers her illness soon, so that she can have the support she needs. Even though she is fiercely vowing to fight Alzheimer, it's a losing battle that she can never win. The sooner she accepts it, the sooner she'll be at peace.

I really liked the scene when Su Yeong's was talking to God in her thoughts. Brazenly telling Him she's not going to let karma just eat her alive. I am sorry, but when she said the karma thing, I was a little bit agreeing with the punishment she's getting... the consenting third party in a relationship rarely get any pity from me. Didn't she enter it with eyes open, how can she cry after it ends, when she knows it beforehand.

I'm also about to be pissed off with Ji Hyung and how he treats his fiancee. The girl is indeed a fool, as her mom observed. How can she accommodate just an uncaring man, who clearly doesn't give about her or their wedding? If he doesn't like to get married, he should be man enough to end it and not sulk all the time. Aigoo.

I am so in after episode 2. The plot is really solid, steady, and grounded. Now I get it, that the thousand days the title is referring to refers to the time Su Yeon estimated to completely forget Ji Hyung. What a double edged promise, huh?

I really can't give my full sympathy for Ji Hyung... because honestly, it's his fault why he's miserable now. Neither can I cry with Su Yeon when she was crying her heart out in the bathroom, because ga, she knew fully well Ji Hyung was taken when she started dating him. If I had to take pity to anyone, I'd choose the fiancee because she is totally clueless. I understand how Ji Hyung's mom did not want him to break the engagement, I mean, how can you break that girl's heart? She's cheerful, supportive, understanding. She is not the second girl to hate here.

More than the love angle, I am more engrossed with the manifestations of early dementia that has already set in on Su Yeong. I don't pity her about her standing with Ji Hyung, but with her sickness, I am totally on her side. Watching her forget things, I could not help but also recall the times I have been forgetful... and I'm afraid the simple forgetfulness I get from time to time would actually be as horrific as amnesia. Gosh.

The acting of KRW and SA are just so convincing, don't you think so?

Can't Lose @ 2

I've just started watching "Can't Lose" this week. I would have wanted to catch it earlier, but the subs for this drama are not that fast [until now, viki has only up to 9... and dss subs aren't fully translated] because this wasn't really that popular when it aired [it was up against Protect the Boss and The Princess' Man]

What can I say? Honestly? I can relate in the plot, it's so close to home, lol. What I noticed, just with two episodes, is that the couple seems to be fighting all the time. Are they going to be like this until episode 18? I don't think I can hold it with all the fighting, I'd rather they divorce in the middle and get back in the end.

So loving the main leads who both belong to the top of my list of favorite celebrities. I hope this one holds my interest until the end.

What the hell, the drama just turned the sad melodrama it was promoted to be, aigoo!

It really frustrated me that ajussi died... that he died trying to tell the truth about Jae In's person. Hello, why didn't he say it earlier on? It frustrated me that the prosecutor couldn't answer the phone, aigoo! I am frustrated that from this episode henceforth, Yeong Gwang will regard Jae In as her sister... I don't want him getting strange feelings for her, while thinking she's his sister... I mean, ew! I hope this one gets resolved soon, otherwise, I'm going to have a hard time shipping for them. This is why I avoid makjangs, aish!

At this point, I am still seeing similarities of this one with Baker King... Jae In living with a family; Tak Gu did too. The preview of Jae In being kidnapped, both guys competing as apprentices... So... Baker... King.

Where did that magical touch go? And goodness, who's that guy, lol.

Finally, the English subtitles for episode 1 of this drama is done, yey!

My goodness, I have to honestly say that I had a hard time reading the subs while watching because I was staring so much at Kim Rae Won. This early, I have to say that in case it really gets crazily makjang, I will hold on for Kim Rae Won. Missed him so much!

I thought this was the usual drama I've known so well, but I was taken aback with the unexpected twist that Su Ae's character is actually the second girl which we all should hate. It's a nice premise to a plot that I am so unfamiliar --- I don't even know if I should side with the her or the fiancee; I also don't know whether I should get angry with KRW's character, too. It's complicated as it is, and the impending amnesia is not yet in the picture. It's sad that she's sick, but by all means, this would make her 'forget' the male lead easier, huh? Oh, but he would suffer so much... as in, totally erased.

I only planned to take a peak in honor of KRW because dramas like this just turn me off. However, the first episode stirred my curiosity and I'm definitely waiting for the subs for episode 2 to be available.

OMG, it's still episode 3, what the heck am I doing, shedding tears with Jae In?

Aigoo, I thought the crying part is still several episodes away, but that scene when Jae In was eating dinner with what she thought was her family was just so heart-wrenching. She was trying so hard to just eat and stop her tears, but the tears fell down while she pretended to just eat. I felt so sorry for her, when she was in the middle of feeding herself and the wife took her rice and the rest of her food; once wasn't enough for that because when the grandmother gave her another bowl, the wife took it as well. Aigoo.

I have to rant because I wanted to shout so badly, why that ajussi just allowed Jae In to conclude she's her father. Of course, it wasn't so easy to own up that he actually caused her father's death and even helped the perpetrator escape criminal punishment, but it was just so frustrating seeing him not open his mouth to tell the truth.

I nearly fainted when I realized Jae In andYeong Gwang are gonnaa think they're half siblings. I mean, hello, this isn't the makjang of the late 90s, is this? Give me a break, writernim, not that kind of misunderstanding, puleaseeee...

The preview tells me ajussi is going to be murdered. I just hope that before that, he was already able to confess everything to Jae In.

Aigoo, this is so Baker King... Tak Gu was also ripped of his inheritance, right? And he worked his way to recover it all. I think Jae In's going to do the same.

Man of Honor, episode 2

Omo, omo, the second episode is surprisingly better that I think I might be sticking to this one after all.

I think I may have misinterpreted about this one being makjang, because at episode 2, it doesn't appear to be the makjang I have in mind. It certainly feels easy and upbeat... kinda like the ending track played.

I think the writer of this drama is the same one from Baker King, and I can see some parallels of this with the other. Yun Jae In appears to be the female version of Kim Tak Gu. She has the same positiveness, the same boldness and the same kind heart. They have the same sad past. Gleaned from this, I think I might just enjoy it, the same way I did with Kim Tak Gu. It's the kind of makjang I can stomach and not the kind which just drives me crazy with unreasonable angst.

Was I relieved when Yeong Gwang learned what Jae In did for him this early. I'd hate him treating Jae In with the same resentment and dragging it on until he falls in love with her. Thank goodness, one misunderstanding was easily resolved fast.

By the way, the tinkling bell of the old man reminded me of Secret Garden... it truly intrigued me, I was even thinking twice if the man was Jae In's father [but his body was found dead]... with a fantasy element injected in what's supposed to be melodrama, I think we're going for a refreshing ride soon.

The morning after, lol! I'm so hooked with this drama now, although I'm just catching this at KBSWorld [useless downloading raws when the subs aren't that fast and I don't download dramas with 50 episodes!]. At episode 17 [and even 24 in SK], this couple's love development is turtle paced, aigoo!

I cannot believe how I have cursed Uee's and Joo Won's characters in YAB and Baker King, respectively, when in this drama, I just love them, hahaha.

It's going to be a very long journey for these two... nearly halfway in the drama, and all we've got is just Ja Eun getting a racy heart when she was close to Tae Hui; the latter hasn't shown any inkling of budding feelings for her... although there are hints that only the viewers can read, lol. I wish this were a shorter drama so that the progress would be faster though.

I'm so loving this one... too bad my weekends are always so full that I can't help missing some episodes.

Man of Honor, episode 1

I was testing the waters of Man of Honor tonight. It was good to see Kim Nana again, lol.

Episode 1 absolutely reminded me me of 'Kim Tak Gu [Baker King]'. The development of the plot was really similar to KTG... as in I nearly drowned with all the bad events that happened in just one hour. Halfway in the episode, I was telling myself, this won't do and that I'm just gonna wait for this at KBSWorld, because I really, really don't enjoy underdog stories, with the antagonists winning about 80% of the drama, and the protagonists only succeeding in the last five minutes of the show, aigoo.

Having decided that I'd just passively watch this, I was only going over the motion of finishing episode 1... until Yun Jae In appeared in present day [Park Min Young] and the environment suddenly changes. It felt lighter and livelier and I'm already set to downloading the next episode because the preview looks fun.

I'm giving this a few more episodes. I hope it won't be a heavy makjang.

The Princess' Man, end

Had I watched this while this aired, I think I would have died ahead of Se Ryeong and Seung Yu due to anxiety.

Even if I intentionally kept a fair distance of the episodes I have watched with the currently airing ones so that I can decide whether it was time to drop it or not, despite previously reading the recaps before actually watching, I still could not stop myself from being scared for the two of them and what may become of them. I was openly crying my eyes out in the last four episodes of The Princess' Man.

We only have about two months of 2011 and since I am not particularly watching any of the new dramas now, I think this will be my favorite drama of this year. This one managed to hold my interest with increasing intensity episode after episode. It's beautifully written... and executed brilliantly too. There wasn't a dull moment ever in the whole 24 hours I have invested... each scene counted, each scene mattered in the story.

Of course, I am immensely relieved and thankful to the writer that they gave us a happy ending. I had already prepared myself for a tragic one, especially that this was advertised as the Joseon version of Romeo and Juliet. If I remember it correctly, the PD was quoted having said that they have read all the messages sent to them, but they will not change the ending they had already planned from the start. I took it to mean that the inevitable tragedy cannot be replaced with a happy ending, but what a lovely surprise that our couple lived happily ever after.

I would have preferred that in the end, after several years, just like the king, the friends and family of Se Ryeong and Seung Yu will also discover their existence. I mean, hello, being happy together is good, but it would be happier when the others would also share in their happiness.

About Myeon's death, I was actually happy that he didn't die in the hands of Seung Yu. Yes, Myeon pissed me all throughout the drama, but I have to give him credit for his efforts, conflicted as they may seem. He conveniently vacated the prison so that Jong could be saved by Seung Yu. He also allowed Jong to name his child; he helped Seung Yu's sister in law and his niece. Myeon may appear tough and heartless on the outside, but inside, I know his love for his friends remained till the end. It's just unfortunate that he is being torn between his family and his friends. Come to think of it, I think Myeon is the most pitiful character in the drama. Poor, poor boy.

I wished Jong didn't have to die. His death is necessary for the plot, but still, I wished he was still around til the end.

Congratulations to Park Shi Hoo, Moon Chae Won and the rest of the cast and crew. Job well done, folks! I really enjoyed it.

*Sniff, sniff*. Sad that my time with Ji Heon and Eun Seol is up. Aigoo, watching a drama is just so confusing sometimes. When it starts, I can't wait to see its end, and when it ends, I'm wishing it didn't have to.

I didn't expect Ji Heon to leave on his own. I'm with him when he decided to just own up and admit their relationship before the media because I don't think there's another way to deal with it. However, was it necessary to resign? Well... rather than be kicked out by the board, he said he would rather leave on his will, and it did look like the board was about to fire him... okay. He said he will still be around as a major stockholder, I guess that's more favorable for him just to move away from the hot seat and the limelight.

I like it that No Eun Seol continued her studies. While love does conquer all and that it has no bounds, I know deep down No Eun Seol also feels that being a wife of a chaebol, she really needs to improve herself not for the sake of the judging eye of the public, but for her own good. Since she loves Ji Heon, it's natural she doesn't want to embarrass him and would want to be a suitable wife for him.

I was so happy for Na Yun when Mu Won finally confirmed that they are now a couple. I just love how Mu Won understands her and loves her despite her flaws. I would have preferred this drama with the secondary couple from the very beginning. As I said, Mu Won's role should have been limited to being Ji Heon's rival at work --- cousins fighting over work and over the same girl just don't sit well with me.

I'll be missing the good times I spent with Protect the Boss. I'll always remember this drama as the one which substantially disregarded the norms of our usual kdramas. I'll miss Chairman Cha, and how he is so openly affectionate with his substandard daughter-in-law to be, how he is a mama's boy too, how human he is. I'll miss the warm friendship of Myeong Ran, Na Yun and Eun Seol, the brotherly love of Mu Won and Ji Heon, even the crazy, love-hate relationship of Curator Hwang and Suk Hui. I'll never forget how I was so relaxed to watch a drama which did not drive me nuts because of the manipulations, lies, and misunderstandings. The one thing that makes this drama distinct from the rest is the very fact that the relevant characters were confrontational and honest. Although in the last stretch, it did succumb to the noble sacrifices the leads always do in kdramaland, I'm still thankful it came so late that I'll just brush it aside and won't think so much about it.

Congratulations to the cast, especially the four leads, who have convincingly and satisfactorily performed their roles.

Protect the Boss: 17

Second to the last! I picked this capture for this post because at the end of episode 17, it suddenly hit me that I'm going to miss Ji Heon's innocent, adorable smile once I conclude this. Aish, goodbyes are never easy.

I still think that this episode is still much of a filler but there isn't really that much going on since the previous one. Even then, I managed to have fun, just watching it. It feels like we went back to the earlier episodes. I was surprised, though, with the last scene, when Mu Won's mom did her old tricks again... I mean, that again? Nothing new they could think of?

My mouth nearly ripped from smiling so wide with that scene of Mu Won and Na Yun--- while the latter was on her blind date. But, I'm not satisfied with Mu Won's hinted confession. I want him to say it out clearly, doing it romantically and sealed with his passionate kiss. I mean, that? Mwoyah!

I don't really remember the recap I read for the finale, but it's obvious what's going to happen with Ji Heon and Eun Seol. I'm more excited to see what becomes of Mu Won and Na Yun : )

So sad I'm finishing this one tonight : (

Whaaaa! Why is that passionate kiss only a figment of Na Yun's imagination? It's not fair, it's not fair! Whaaaaa, I feel cheated!

I'm so glad that in episode 16, the drama sort of bounced back. I didn't find this one boring. I get the feeling that in the last two episodes, I'll be as engrossed as I was before the lull.

Do you get the 'break' Ji Heon was referring here? I don't know, but a break from a relationship is definitely a break up to me. I think he was referring to a cool-off? But, yeah, I agree with No Eun Seol, that's just word games. Aigoo, the Ji Heon I know is not a noble idiot... however, I like it that he openly admitted to Eun Seol that he regretted having said the words the minute he uttered them. For that, I forgive you, Drama.

I was hoping that Mu Won's and Na Yun's relationship would at least be given some development, even if it's this late. I feel bad that nothing much has blossomed for them. Their courtship would have been interesting and refreshing to watch - to divert me from the 'break up' of Ji Heon and Eun Seol.

I'm going to be very busy in the next couple of days, but I promise myself to finish this tonight.

Man Of Honor

This sports drama of KBS which takes the slot of The Princess' Man airs its first episode today. I am still contemplating whether to watch it as it airs, or just wait for it at KBS World.

Also known as Glory Jane [I don't know why!], this stars Chun Jung Myung [Cinderella's Sister] and Park Min Young [City Hunter]. Whoa, Park Min Young is a workaholic, don't you think?

Anyway, I'm not so sure with the genre of this one, aside from it being a sports drama. But the fact that it is about a baseball player's struggles gives me the impression that it would be more of a melo than a rom com --- but the trailers me a light environment [they used the music from Secret Garden, lol!]. Maybe this will be fun...

Protect the Boss: 15

This is the only scene in the entire hour that it felt I was watching 'Protect the Boss' --- the rest of episode 15 appeared like another drama to me. It suddenly turned melo-ish; the lead characters are totally acting differently, I couldn't identify them. The price of extensions, at the expense of the drama. I thought this was my drama for 2011... unfortunately, it lost me after episode 14.

The previous episode was slow for me, just a bit short of a drag, but this one spiraled further down. If I could, I would just browse through, but I wanted to see it all to be fair. Aigoo, this one used to be awesome and unpredictable in a surprising way. Here, it turned into the usual kdrama plots and I am not pleased.

I wish Ji Heon snap out of his current state. I am not used to seeing him so serious and mature. I know I should be pleased that he's turned that way, but I prefer his ordinary state. It would have been more interesting how his character would react to the present angst. It's a wonder how he suddenly became this one at an instant. He never used to be like that... even if his father was already in a mess, he used to stand his ground without any care. I loved him that way, so unique, so flawed, so him. Now? He's become the chaebol of the past [he was already in the category of Joo Won, hahaha!].

Poseidon

I caught the premier telecast of "Poseidon" last night at KBSWorld. At first, I was really groping because in the earlier minutes, I was impatiently waiting for Choi Si Won to appear. During the first 15 minutes, when it took him forever to make his entrance, I thought he wouldn't be playing a big role [sorry, I don't know the lead guy, lol]. I guess he is, after all.

Anyway, I see it's action [of course!]... kinda reminded me of City Hunter, because of the pretty face of Si Won. It's also like baywatch, no? I don't know if I'll be able to continue watching this. Action flicks don't really hold me in the gut --- unless the lead is Lee Min Ho [I still have 3-4 eps left of CH].

What caught my attention in the first episode is the soundtrack. The one sang by a member of BEAST. I'll be making a ringtone of it if I ever hang on this one.

Rain starts mandatory military service

Today, Rain officially began his 2-year mandatory military service to his country. It is said that he will first undergo training for five weeks at the 306 Reserves Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do province military camp before starting his active duty.

I'm having mixed feelings on this. A part of me is sad, because I shall be missing him, but the other part is also happy that he's finally complying his long overdue duty to his motherland. I mean, I'd hate it if he would delay it further and might be criticized for avoiding it [like what happened to MC Mong].

Rain enlists tomorrow

The day is finally arriving tomorrow.

It has been reported sometime in September that Rain is entering mandatory military service tomorrow, October 11, 2011. When I heard about it, it seemed so unreal because he's been reported many times to enter it [as early late last year]. Of course, as someone fond of him, I was a little down [my sister shed a tear, lol!], but I was already expecting this unavoidable event, so it didn't shock me so much --- I was just silent for a while, ngee.

Last September 23, 2011, Rain gave a message for his fans and below is the English translation of the same at rain-jihoon.com, courtesy of rain-bird:

At the moment of autumn which is the season when the sky is high and the horses get fat, I would like to say a few words. It’s just that…I’m going to enlist in the army on October 11th.

Finally finished episode 14!

Before anything else, I just want to make it a fact that on the question of whether or not Ji Heon and Eun Seol spent the night together [and more!], I'm positively sure that...

they did! whaaaaa! Ji Heon's kiss before the scene faded out just gives me the impression that they did. As in. If they did not, why were they so sleepy on the way back to Seoul? I'm assuming they went back in the morning, then why so tired? Lol.

Anyway, of the entire episode, I only enjoyed that first part with Ji Heon and Eun Seol... and Mu Won's and Na Yun's day out. The rest? I slept through because I was forcing myself not to forward any scenes and I ended up stopping it and resuming the same after two days. Yeah, it's sad that it turned out this way. It was so much fun before, but lately, it kind of slowed down a bit.

I was so annoyed and disappointed with No Eun Seol. She kept standing her ground unreasonably, despite Ji Heon's continued prodding. I mean, what the hell was she thinking? Ji Heon wouldn't know? Okay, maybe in the beginning, I can understand that she just wanted to contain the situation, but later on when it was already so obvious that it wasn't going to her favor, she should have told him because he will eventually know. I so agree with Ji Heon when he told her she didn't trust him. Whatever Ji Heon will do to her later, she won't get any sympathy from me.

This is why I don't like extensions. Episode 14 just seem so-so obviously because they had to prolong it. I feel that because of the belated decision, it has sacrificed the fluidity of the drama; it lost it's strong momentum.

Aigoo, three more episodes to go.
